After the dry season the Aboriginal women go out and collect the grass seeds. What they usually do is find an ants' nest and take the seeds collected by the ants. They leave the seeds out to dry in the sun to get the moisture out. Next they get two grinding stones and grind the seeds to make flour. It is then mixed with a little water and can be eaten as a paste or it is formed into a small loaf and cooked in the coals to make bread.
