Deidre Brown NapangardiDeidre was born at Yuendumu in 1961, and started painting in 1978. Her tribe is Warlpiri. The dreamings that deidre paints have been handed down to her from her Grandfather, Uncle and Father. She paints the fruits that she remembers picking with her family when they went out looking for food. Deidre is a respected and talented artist who comes from a long family line of artists. She has exhibited widely and is sought after by collectors worldwide.
